Electric Vehicle Common Charger Grant (ECCG)

The Electric Charging for Carparks Grant (ECCG) helps offset the cost of installing EV chargers at residential and commercial sites. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis and covers a limited number of chargers, including a portion for residential car parks. (GST is not included.)

Eligible costs include EV charger hardware, installation, and supporting infrastructure (e.g., electrical works).
Co-funding is up to 50% of eligible costs, with a cap of S$4,000 per charger for the first 2,000 chargers and S$3,000 per charger for the next 1,500 chargers.
For residential car parks, the ECCG may fund up to 1% of total car park lots, rounded up to the nearest whole number.
The grant is available to site owners or operators of private developments with residential units, excluding landed properties, shophouses, hotels, hostels, serviced apartments, and workers’ dormitories.
Applicants are to submit these as well:
  1. Form A
  2. Letter of confirmation between NLPR and EV Charging Operator
  3. Meeting minutes from NLPR’s AGM or EOGM which shows resolution being passed by NLPR’s residents to install EV charger(s) in the NLPR
  4. Checklist A

With the introduction of the common EV charger grant, condos and private apartments can keep the cost of installing an EV charging station at a minimum and benefit from the value of future-proofing the properties facilities.

Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG)

The Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG) helps private fleet operators and
commercial depots offset the cost of installing chargers for electric heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks, buses, and delivery vehicles). Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis and covers eligible installation costs. (GST is not included.)

Eligible costs include heavy vehicle charger hardware, installation, and supporting infrastructure such as electrical upgrades and protective equipment.
Co-funding is up to 50% of eligible costs, subject to programme-specific caps per charger.
The grant is available to site owners or operators of private depots or fleets. Public bus depots or government-operated facilities are not eligible.
Applicants are to submit these as well:
  1. Information on building owner / proprietor
  2. Letter of confirmation between NLPR and EV Charging Operator
  3. Checklist A
  4. Invoice / Quotations with EV charger installation cost
  5. Receipt/paid invoice for deposit for purchase of eHV OR purchase order for eHV
